Beat 3: Champerhaies

About Beat 3: Champerhaies

Around 1.9Km of double bank fishing, this is a nice section of open river reminiscent of the Windrush. It provides good brown trout fishing during the spring and summer and usually produces fish to over 1lb. There is also a lovely mix of coarse fish present with chub, dace, roach, perch and pike with all year round sport if you can locate them.. The river is relatively easy to fish with a lovely pool – riffle – glide sequence. The beat is known for its above average sized brown trout and coarse fishing
