This 800m double bank beat is located downstream from Great Torrington, below Rothern Bridge and comprises a sequence of decent sized pools and deep glides. For trout a single handed 9’ rod with floating line should be sufficient. For salmon and sea trout fishing a 10’ single handed rod will cover most situations. The beat offers the chance of an early salmon or a sea trout throughout the season and also has some large brown trout.
