Beat 39: Upper Yealm

About Beat 39: Upper Yealm

*Angler notice - the Upper Yealm Beat will be closed on the 28th August for 1 day. Approximately 1km of double bank fishing on the River Yealm near Ivybridge. This is a lovely beat which combines two distinct sections of water. The upper section displays typical moorland river features with a mix of runs and pools suiting dry fly/nymph fishing. The lower section is more open and has 5 holding pools which provide good brown trout and, with the right water, excellent sea trout fishing. For anglers not using Fish Pass App, paper day tickets are still available from the Snowbee Fly Fishing shop. Snowbee (UK) Ltd., Drakes Court, Langage Business Park, Plymouth.
