Approximately 1km of double bank fishing on the River Yealm near Ivybridge. This is a lovely beat which combines two distinct sections of water. The upper section displays typical moorland river features with a mix of runs and pools suiting dry fly/nymph fishing. The lower section is more open and has 5 holding pools which provide good brown trout and, with the right water, excellent sea trout fishing.
Information & restrictions
Fly fishing only. Catch & Release for salmon & brown trout, 2 sea trout, over 12”, may be retained per day. Please use barbless or de-barbed hooks. Sorry, no dogs.
