Beat 42: Heddon Valley

About Beat 42: Heddon Valley

With just over a Km of double bank Exmoor stream, running all the way to the picturesque Heddon Mouth beach this is some special fishing. You can expect some challenging but rewarding trout fishing. From the car park, walk down the riverside paths to the beach, get in and carefully wade up. Picking pockets and chutes all the way while exploring the larger deeper pools for the larger specimens.. Some of the more productive, accessible fishing is found at the very bottom of the beat with fishing getting tighter and more trickier the further upstream you venture.
