Westons has 700m of RHB fishing on a small brown trout and grayling stream that enters the main River Exe just upstream of Cove. Trout fishing runs from March 15 to September 30 and grayling can be targeted from June 16 till March 14. This attractive beat runs through open pasture and is probably best approached with a short 7-8ft 3/4 weight rod; wading is required to access some of the deeper pools and runs. The 2019 Season saw Grayling over 10” caught on the fly. Being open all year for trout and grayling, this is the place to get to know.
