Beat 47: Stithians

About Beat 47: Stithians

This majestic water, one of England's most westerly trout fisheries, is regularly stocked with Rainbow trout to 6lb and Blue trout. SWTL also stock a few double figure fish during the season up to 14lbs. Stithians contains a good natural head of Brown trout which come alive in the summer months. Stithians trout are supplied from Milemead Fish Farm (Tavistock) and they are second to none for quality and hard fighting. Expect to find shoals of silver fish in the margins, they are happy to take a fly and provides anglers with great fun when the trout fishing is tough. Some anglers may be lucky enough to hook a carp whilst trout fishing here, have fun landing them!
